Additive Manufacturing insider update

15 June 2021: An insider update by AMPOWER and TÜV-SÜD for Flam3D-members and acquaintances.

AMPOWER has quickly gained worldwide appreciation for their reliable, intelligent reports on the Additive Manufacturing market. Their newest reports – on Metal and Polymers 3D printing – have recently been released. Maximilian MUNSCH will share some key insights into the reports.

TÜV-SÜD has become a reference on Additive Manufacturing standardisation. Gregor REISCHLE will explain why standardisation matters, also for your business.

Moreover, you get the chance to ask questions during a Q&A session with each speaker. The webinar takes place online. You can register below.

Gregor Reischle is the Global head of Industrial additive manufacturing at TÜV SÜD and as such he is defining the strategy and is leading the global Teams of experts and auditors in GER, SG, JP and USA towards service excellence. Gregor has been active in the field of Additive Manufacturing since 2008. As well as participating in other industry specific standardisation activities within the medical ISO TC 150 and personal qualification.

Why care about standardisation? Gregor Reischle will discuss the supposedly “boring” topic of standardisation from a market outlook. Answers and insights to the following questions will be provided: How the progress in standardisation will affect your business? Where are companies (already) going in terms of certification/standardisation? And how the progress of standards, enables new kind of industrial use of Additive manufacturing? And how costs saving can be made, while applying state of the art standards? What’s in the pipeline? …

Maximilian is a professional user of Additive Manufacturing since 2007. In his first affiliations he acquired extensive knowledge in Laser and Electron Beam Powder Bed Fusion for medical applications. He was responsible for the installation and qualification of AM production lines, today turning out over EUR 10 million in revenues, and supported multiple implant manufacturers, among others, setting up a qualified LB and EB-PBF production for regulated applications.

The AMPOWER team has finalised its 2021 issue of the AMPOWER Report. For the first time, the Report has been extended to the global polymer market.
